Nathalie
Ishizuka is a Franco-Japanese from New York. She enjoys writing and capturing
movement such as bull fighting in watercolor. Having had too many years
of study in other areas of her life, she has refused any drawing or watercolor
lessons. Instead, to teach herself, she learns from the work of artists
she admires most. Moved by the writing of St. Exupery's The Little Prince,
by the simplicity and humor of Jean-Jacques Sempe's Le Petit Nicolas, and
from Savignac's unique ability to capture a single idea visually, she gathered
the courage to illustrate a little series of her own with messages she holds
dear.
Nathalie received her M.B.A. from Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) France,
M.A.L.D. from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy (administered in
cooperation with Harvard), and a B.A. Political Science summa cum laude
from Amherst College.

A desire to put health models to the test and acquire new skills necessary
to communicate the models to the general public, she chose to re-orientate
herself towards business, communication and new technologies.
After completing her MBA in Paris, she created two firms at the height
of the internet frenzy. The second firm, Rythmik, a new media agency promoting
major Warner Artists, on the net, mobile, and video clip remained avant
garde in its capacity to promote celebrities on new media in an entertaining
and memorable manner.
Jacques Seguela, one of the greatest publicists in France promoting the
campaigns of French Presidents and many renown brands, praised Rythmik
highly, calling it the new media firm of the future. With her still burning
desire to promote the model of health to the general public and her newly
acquired knowledge of new medias and promotion, Nathalie left Rythmik
(despite a growing portfolio and the agency's success with France Telecom),
and began to write a new series.
Integrating her writing, illustrations, and knowledge of new technologies,
she aspires to enchant readers with a new world full of health, possibilities
and the little things in life that mean a lot. Mom Says, Dad Says, Nat
says, integrates much that Nathalie holds dear.
